MICROTAN comes from a balanced blend of exceptional tannins of different botanical origins (Vitis Vinifera, Rhus Semialata, Camelia Sinesis, Castanea Sativa, Caesalpinia Spinosa), specially designed to have excellent performance, maximum stabilizing power and a wide range of simultaneous and synergistic actions.
Each component of MICROTAN, like all the tannins in our range, is extracted in water separately to preserve the maximum effectiveness of each component, after curing, thus improving the yield and ensuring higher quality.
The main characteristic of this tannin is to enhance the natural component of the wine (without adding any foreign component); in addition, the high purity of the individual ingredients brings the tannic content of this product around the theoretical maximum referred to the dry matter, a characteristic that makes MICROTAN one of the most active tannins in the world wine scene.
